Over the last 2 weeks or so, Patriots have gathered in our nations capital of DC. Some have been there since day one — Manny Vega to name one — and others have come for a few days but then had to leave — A.J. Watkins & Bill Looman  just to name a couple.

They are there to send a message to the TYRANT in the White House.

These men & women are our “Modern Day Version of the Magnificent Seven”

A statement from Mr. A.J. Watkins (one of the Ten)

I just got home from D.C. a little while ago. I spent the weekend supporting, and standing alongside some amazing men and women who are standing up for our constitution, our rights as American citizen’s, and our way of life. Some of these great patriots are veterans, some are civilians such as me, and some were immigrants who are here legally.

I am humbled, yet came home with a sense of honor, pride, and heartbreak. These men and women have been there since day one, they have been mocked, ridiculed, and called names, such as racist, cracker, and several other derogatory remarks… myself included.

I had the privilege of having dinner with these folks, and shared in comradery, stories, and saw them as more than Military, more than Patriots, I saw them as American’s, people who are flesh and bone, people who have emotions, understanding, and truly care for each and every last American Citizen in our great country.

I came home and kissed my wife, and children, and immediately thought about how hard life will be for my children if things continue the way they are… then i thought about how great our country would be if everyone would care for each other the way these men and women care for each and every one of us.

I literally am broken right now. My heart hurts for our country. When people will rush out to buy a material item to save $15 on thanksgiving day and leave their families, and not even consider that there are people who fight for our country over seas, and here on our own soil, at our nations capitol, who don’t get to see their families on thanksgiving, or birthdays, Christmas…  I am truly heartbroken.

We have lost our way, we need to come together and fight back… take our country back… And restore our values, our morals, and our way of life.

I’m sorry if you think this is a rant or a guilt trip. It’s not, but maybe it should be… I am just overwhelmed with emotions.

I want to leave you with this one last thing….

Please reach out to someone you know who is fighting or has fought for your rights, overseas or here at home, and just tell them you appreciate them. Let them know that no matter what, you believe in them, and their cause, and you respect them.

Goodnight, God Bless

The internet is all a buzz with chatter about the Dream Act (or Amnesty for Illegal Immigrants) being pushed through by the Lame Duck Senate. The vote could come as early as TODAY (Nov. 29, 2010) so it’s time to light up those phone lines.

The DREAM Act of 2010 is really a NIGHTMARE!

If you’re not familiar with this legislation, here is a link and below is the summary;

9/22/2010–Introduced.Development, Relief, and Education for Alien Minors Act of 2010 or DREAM Act of 2010 – Amends the Illegal Immigration Reform and Immigrant Responsibility Act of 1996 to repeal the provision making unlawful aliens ineligible for higher education benefits based on state residence unless a U.S. citizen or national is eligible for such benefits without regard to state residence. Authorizes the Secretary of Homeland Security to cancel the removal of, and adjust to conditional permanent resident status, an alien who:

(1) entered the United States before his or her 16th birthday and has been present in the United States for at least five years immediately preceding this Act’s enactment;

(2) is a person of good moral character;

(3) is not inadmissible or deportable under specified grounds of the Immigration and Nationality Act;

(4) has been admitted to an institution of higher education (IHE) or has earned a high school or equivalent diploma;

(5) from the age of 16 and older, has never been under a final order of exclusion, deportation, or removal; and

(6) was under age 35 on the date of this Act’s enactment. Requires aliens to apply for such adjustment of status within one year of being admitted to an IHE or earning a high school or equivalent diploma. Sets forth conditions for maintaining such status and having its conditional basis removed. Authorizes an alien who has satisfied the appropriate requirements before this Act’s enactment to petition the Secretary for conditional permanent resident status. Provides for:

(1) exclusive jurisdiction;

(2) penalties for false application statements;

(3) confidentiality;

(4) higher education assistance; and

(5) a Government Accountability Office (GAO) report respecting the number of aliens adjusted under this Act.

Message from ALIPAC

Friends of ALIPAC,

We regret to inform everyone that the Democrats are planning an Amnesty Massacre of our nation to take place on the Monday following the Thanksgiving break. We believe that Pelosi and Reid plan to vote on the Dream Act Amnesty early on Monday November 29 when the press and public will be returning from the holiday. It will be very hard for us to mobilize under these conditions.

ALIPAC has defeated the Dream Act Amnesty many times before and we are ready to fight and win again with your support! We had hoped that many of us could rest and recuperate after the brutal election cycle, but now we must swing into battle again!

3 ACTION ITEMS: PLEASE RESPOND QUICKLY AND STRONGLY

1. We must raise funds for this unexpected Amnesty challenge from Pelosi and Reid. ALIPAC will need to launch emergency measures to help defeat the Dream Act Amnesty as we have before. Please click on this link to donate right away at our secure donations link.

2. Please help our national press release reach good targets. Please read it and send it to your local media contacts and to your favorite national media shows. Please make sure every talk radio show you know of gets a copy.

http://www.alipac.us/article-5855-thread-1-0.html

3. Please call your members of Congress and each member of Congress in your state found on our contact list here at this link then proceed to call our 7 US Senate targets.

Call and tell a staffer this or leave a message and then try to send in a written version. You can be angry and assertive, but do NOT be over the top or threatening.

“No Dream Act Amnesty! Focus on Jobs for Americans! Enforce our existing immigration and border laws like most of you promised during the elections!”
