Update on April 9, 2013

Please read the comment below from “Cheryl Manager”.  Please accept my apologies for my error on this particular incident.

On Saturday November 6, 2010 two armed criminals entered a pawn shop in Fayetteville, NC and killed 19 year old clerk Kyle Harris. Might I also point out that Mr. Harris is Caucasian and the 2 criminals are Black. Is this going to be prosecuted as a “Hate Crime” too? But that’s a different subject altogether.

The purpose of this posting is to point out that criminals “PREY” on places such as this pawn shop that refuses to allow Legal Weapons on their premises.

Screen grab from WTVD’s Video on the story. Note the “No Firearms” signage on the window. Click for larger image.

Quite possibly, this young man would still be alive today IF firearms were not BANNED in this establishment. More proof that the Liberal Mentality of Restricting/Regulating firearm possession does NOT work!

SilenceDogood2010 has the opinion that all of these Liberal induced gun control measures do not work to make our society a safer place to work and live. These criminal cowards that hunt and prey on us need to be sent a clear message. We will not tolerate this behavior anymore.

Since the NC General Assembly now has a ‘Conservative’ majority, I would urge each and every concerned citizen to call or write your House and Senate Representative. If enough of the citizens here in NC push to repeal or eliminate some of these restrictions, then maybe, just maybe we can eliminate a lot of these crimes. Remember, ‘An Armed Society is a Polite Society‘.

If you do not know how to find your NC House or NC Senate member, here is a link to assist you:

Use the “Who Represents Me?” section located on the right hand side HERE.

Silence is firm believer in the 2nd Amendment right to BEAR ARMS. This means you can have your weapon on you at all times. In the Grocery Store; At the Doctors Office; At your son or daughters soccer game; While purchasing your lunch or dinner— even in a restaurant that serves spirits; While paying your taxes in person at your local County Courthouse. Our 2nd Amendment, and Section 30 of our NC Constitution, BOTH insure that this right shall not be infringed….Period.

This is a BREAKING NEWS Story.

A missile launch caught by a San Diego news station has military officials claiming they know nothing about it:

A Navy spokesperson tells News 8, this wasn’t its missile. He said there was no Navy activity reported in that part of the region.

On Friday, November 5, Vandenberg Air Force Base launched a Delta II rocket, carrying the Thales Alenia Space-Italia COSMO SkyMed satellite, but a sergeant at the base tells News 8, there have been no launches since then.

News 8 showed the video to Robert Ellsworth, former U.S. Ambassador to NATO and a former Deputy Secretary of Defense.

He said it didn’t appear to be a Tomahawk missile and said it would be safest to wait for definitive answers to come from the military.

This is a screen grab from Page 19 of the NC DMV Drivers Handbook. The Idiots at DMV have already approved this highly insecure document.

After we put the Durham City council in checkmate on Monday evening, I believe it’s time to focus some attention on the officials at DMV.

—End of update—

I am posting this a little prematurely due to the fact I just heard about this. So, with that said please forgive me if I miss a key detail. I have several phone calls to make on Monday 11/8/10 to clarify some details. I will post that info as I receive it. Patriots….Please share this message! We only have one week to get our game plan together and STOP THIS.

Please plan to attend the City Council Meeting on Monday November 15th at 7pm.

Stay tuned folks, Same Bat Time – Same Bat Channel!

Sample of a Mexico Matricula Consular ID Card

The Durham, NC City Council is scheduled to vote on approving the use of Mexican Matricula Consular ID Cards. In a nutshell, these ID Cards are issued to Illegal Immigrants.  This vote will take place on Monday November 15, 2010. One week from the date of this posting!

Here  is the news story posted on Saturday night, 11/6/10, at approximately 9:00 pm.

http://www.thedurhamnews.com/2010/11/06/204300/council-to-consider-mexican-id.html

Durham is the first North Carolina jurisdiction where authorities have been formally asked to recognize the Matricula Consular. Clement wanted to know why, since Flores’s office is in Raleigh. Flores said it was because groups in Durham were already working on approval when he began his job a year ago.

Deputy Police Chief Steve Mihaich said the department would accept the Matricula Consular as it would any other out-of-state ID.

Please read the full story at the link provided above.

Diane Catotti’s statement from the above mentioned story:

“I’m very proud that you started here,” said Councilwoman Diane Catotti. “We have a very active El Centro Hispano and Hispanic community.”

Here is another story via the Durham Herald Sun Paper

Here is a link to the FBI’s Report to the House Judiciary Sub-Committee on the Matricula Consular ID Card.

Exert from this link:

The U.S. Government has done an extensive amount of research on the Matricula Consular, to assess its viability as a reliable means of identification. The Department of Justice and the FBI have concluded that the Matricula Consular is not a reliable form of identification, due to the non-existence of any means of verifying the true identity of the card holder.

To provide my readers with thorough information, here is the 287(g) MOA agreement between ICE and the Durham, NC Police Department.

Now, for those of you who aren’t familiar with what exactly a “Matricula Consular ID Card” is, please click HERE.

Here are a few key points….

The Mexican Matricula Consular ID card is an ID card issued to Mexican foreign nationals in the United States. The matricula consular is useful in the United States only for illegal aliens, because legal immigrants by definition have legal U.S. government-issued documents.

After 9/11, the Mexican Government realized that they could not gain another U.S. amnesty for illegal aliens. Instead, they launched a lobbying campaign to gain acceptance of the ID at state and local levels and from U.S. banks.

The matricula card is not a secure document. Mexico does not authenticate documents used to obtain the ID against computerized data files in Mexico. No major bank in Mexico accepts the card to open an account and the cards are recognized as IDs in only 10 of Mexico’s 32 states and districts.City liability insurance companies almost certainly won’t cover liability associated with accepting such a card, since it is a violation of Federal law to accept the card. So if a city accepts the card and a citizen is injured by an illegal alien, the citizen could likely sue individual city council members for their personal assets and life savings.

Specifically, a state or local government official or employee who provides any benefit or service to such a presenter possesses the criminal intent (mens rea) necessary for a felony indictment under Section 274 of the Immigration and Nationality Act, which provides criminal penalties for any act that “encourages or induces an alien to come to, enter, or reside in the United States, knowing or in reckless disregard of the fact that such coming to, entry, or residence is or will be in violation of law.”

Here is the text of the actual resolution being considered by the Durham City Council.

RESOLUTION SUPPORTING RECOGNITION OF THE MATRICULA CONSULAR AS A VALID FORM OF IDENTIFICATION

Whereas, the City of Durham respects and promotes the right of all of its residents to equal treatment under the law; and

Whereas, many immigrants who could have obtained a driver’s license by using a tax ID number prior to 2005 are no longer able to do so now that current law requires a social security number; and

Whereas, if a Durham city law enforcement official discovers that a driver is not carrying a license when making a traffic stop for a minor violation such as speeding or not fully stopping for a stop sign, the officer would typically issue a citation rather than making an arrest, provided a) there are no indications of criminal activity or driving under the influence, and b) the driver has a valid ID card; and

Whereas, the Mexican Matricula Consular has been shown to be a highly secure form of identification, issued to Mexican citizens living in other countries and containing several levels of machine-readable verification; and

Whereas, acceptance of the Matricula Consular as a valid form of ID would not only assist in minimizing unnecessary and potentially life-changing arrests of hard-working residents guilty of no more than a minor traffic infraction, but would also be useful for banking, library, and other civil functions;

THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Council of the City of Durham hereby formally supports recognition of a properly issued and obtained Mexican Matricula Consular as a valid form of identification, not substituting for a driver’s license, but authenticating a person’s identity, and, with regard to activities of the Durham Police Department, supports issuance of a citation to persons showing such identification in situations where a citation would be issued to any driver lacking a license but with another valid form of identification, while leaving discretion to the officer as to whether to arrest.

This Resolution is effective upon adoption.

I was extremely impressed by these 2 young folks. For this blog, I’ll call them Judy and Elroy Jetson.

Judy & Elroy Jetson watching Governor Perdue sign a proclamation on October 25, 2010

On October 25, 2010 North Carolina’s Governor Bev Perdue signed a ‘Proclamation’ to establish November as “American Indian Heritage Month“.

AMERICAN INDIAN HERITAGE MONTH

2010

BY THE GOVERNOR OF THE STATE OF NORTH CAROLINA

A PROCLAMATION

WHEREAS, “Honoring the Legacy of Our Warriors” is the theme for American Indian Heritage Month 2010 in North Carolina and is observed as a means to encourage all citizens to learn about and appreciate the historic and contemporary contributions of American Indians in our State; and
WHEREAS, American Indians are the first inhabitants of North Carolina, having lived here for more than 12,000 years, and today numbering more than 100,000, giving the State the largest American Indian population east of the Mississippi and the sixth largest American Indian population in the country; and
WHEREAS, North Carolina is home to eight state-recognized tribes:  the Coharie, the Eastern Band of Cherokee, the Haliwa-Saponi, the Lumbee, the Meherrin, the Occaneechi Band of the Saponi, the Sappony, and the Waccamaw Siouan; and
WHEREAS, American Indian warriors have fought bravely and continuously throughout history to protect their values, traditions, and tribal communities, and have persevered in a changing world; and
WHEREAS, American Indian warriors have served proudly alongside their fellow Americans to protect the independence and freedom afforded them by the Constitution of the United States of America; and
WHEREAS, this year we have chosen to honor the men and women from our tribal communities who have served and continue to serve our nation proudly through military service and to recognize the sacrifices made to protect their culture, a culture that continues to enrich the lives of the citizens of the Tar Heel State and the Nation;
NOW, THEREFORE, I, BEVERLY EAVES PERDUE, Governor of the State of North Carolina, do hereby proclaim November 2010, as “AMERICAN INDIAN HERITAGE MONTH” in North Carolina and urge our citizens to recognize and celebrate the many achievements and contributions made by the native inhabitants of North Carolina.
BEVERLY EAVES PERDUE

IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and affixed the Great Seal of the State of North Carolina at the Capitol in Raleigh this twenty-fifth day of October in the year of our Lord two thousand and ten, and of the Independence of the United States of America the two hundred and thirty-fifth.

It made this old Patriot’s heart skip a beat when I saw that this Generations children are taking an interest in how our government works.  I have always been a big fan of History and love to visit museums, old battlefields and such. I have NEVER witnessed a signing of a Proclamation so it looks like Judy & Elroy are one up on me. I do remember a Field Trip to the General Assembly in Raleigh back when I was in elementary school, but all I got to see then was a bunch of legislators milling around and not doing much.

Great Job and a “Tip o’ the Hat” to Judy & Elroy!

And I hope you enjoyed the cake too!

Update on May 8,2012 – NC Primary Election Day

Click for a larger image.

This particular blog post has reached 10,116 readers since it was posted.

Updated March 19, 2012:

Source

After reading Don Wright’s (attorney for the State Board of Elections) email to Joyce McCloy of the NC Coalition for Verified Voting, I sent him an email to get some clarification on the points he made.  I informed him that Ms. McCloy had copied his email and posted it in the Civitas Review Blog and I included a link to the blog so that he could take a look at our conversation.

I downloaded the latest absentee file and found that 3,315 of 110 year old voters voted early in the last election and 3,090 of those voters voted in 2008 (they were 108 years old at the time).  The data would indicate that these voters’ records are not getting updated at the polling place as Mr. Wright claimed when he wrote, “If these voters show up to vote, the poll workers inquire as to their correct birth date and that information is added.”

I went a little further in my research to find that there are over 19,000 voters whose age reflects the number 110 in Cumberland, Guilford, Forsyth and Davidson counties.  So much for Mr. Wright’s assertion that:  “Since that time, we have be (sic) able to reduce the number of such voters down to a little over two thousand.”

And, I hope Mr. Wright got it wrong when he wrote “When a county does not have a birth date for a voter, they use a default date for that voters birth date and most counties use 1/1/1900.”  Surely, if a county does not have a birth date, the county’s procedure would be to put the registration aside until it could be determined that the voter was at least 18 years old.

Yes Apokalupsis, dead people can vote in NC and our voting system would protect them.  The State Board of Elections has partnered with the Legislature and other progressive/liberal groups for the past 20 years to bring us to this place.  They have been busy passing legislation that makes it easier for everyone to vote while never addressing ballot security (see same-day registration, pre-registration, reversals in HAVA and NVRA requirements).

I emailed Mr. Wright yesterday morning and have not heard back from him yet, but when I do I will report back with his response.

Source #2   ZOMBIE VOTING

Isn’t it funny typical of the mainstream media that when voter fraud is discovered in North Carolina, they make a joke of it?  The News and Observer’s article titled Zombie Voters in Washington County? included accounts of dead voters voting and mishandled absentee ballots.

The Fayetteville Observer carries the Zombie gag one step further in editorializing that a photo ID requirement would probably not stop Zombie’s from voting – since you can “Never underestimate the determination of a zombie.” Yes that’s right, the expectation of any semblance of election integrity in North Carolina has always been really funny.

——End of Update—–

A Granville County senior citizen cast their ballot here in NC during early voting. I mean a REALLY SENIOR CITIZEN. They were 11 years old when the US Civil War began in 1861. I would LOVE to sit this person down and a have a conversation with them. Think of all the things they have seen in their 160 year lifetime.

Here’s a Link

So far in early voting 110 year olds have made a pretty good showing; 2214 of them have voted either by mail or at a one-stop site (214 by mail and 2,000 at early voting sites).  There are 1,420 Democrats in this group, 717 Republicans and 77 Unaffiliated voters.

Nothing against very old voters, but it is funny that these 110 year olds live in only 34 counties and 87% of them live in 4 counties –  Guilford has voted 681 of them so far, Forsyth – 581, Cumberland – 427 and Davidson voted 230.

Some more facts about these older voters:  1,923 of this year’s group also voted in the 2008 General Election during early voting – they were only 108 back then.  In 2008 a total 9,688 108 year olds voted early.

And just in case you thought 110 was pretty old, Gaston County data shows that a 154 year old voter has cast a ballot and Granville County’s data reflects a voter who is 160 years old.

Can you say VOTER FRAUD?????
