Thanks to another Patriot friend of mine, I was introduced to this clip. It seems that some “Good Old American Ingenuity” has come up with a Win-Win solution to the Gulf Oil Spill issue. Yessir, some good ole boys have made a proposal, and they are WANTING to DO THE WORK too! Can’t beat that with a stick can ya?????? Hummmm…. watch this, then we’ll discuss it!
So, Here we have a Demand for HAY! The midwest region of the USA has Hay just rotting away. SOLD! (oh, and by the way….I’ll betcha that even old hay, you know, the stuff that might be a little bit on the moldy side…NOT good for livestock, but… I’ll bet it would still absorb some oil so there’s another plus)
Psst, Yeah you there…. That’s a Boost to the Midwest’s economy! Check!
Now, we need to get the HAY to the Gulf Coast. BAMM….Boost to the Trucking Industry! Check!
Fishing & Shrimp boats in the Gulf Area need business. Check & Double Check. They are used to get the HAY out to the spill sites. And then, with their nets… they can collect the “Oil Absorbed Hay”. 2 checks, 2 different jobs, and only one trip out of port! Can’t beat that! It’s like Double Time & a Half (if you’re a union employee)
Then…. Oh, what about the waste product??? Our little liberal friends are SO worried about the oil contaminated HAY. OH!!!!! MY!!!!!! GOD!!!!! The waste product can be used in incendiaries to produce….. stay with me now….. that’s right….ELECTRICITY! GREEN ELECTRICITY!!!!
So our little liberal friends can stay warm and listen to sounds of the “Serenity Machines” they may have (Kumbaya playing softly in the background)
In all seriousness though, let’s say this process only gets up 50-60% of the oil spill. That still is a WIN WIN situation in my book. Instant economic boost to several areas of the country & more temporary jobs than the Census is creating…. And it’s NOT costing Billions of Dollars! Granted the scale of the job, it may cost several million dollars, but it’s an Instant Simple Solution.
Let’s have the 1st American HAY PARTY in the Gulf of Mexico!
