Obama Campaign Joins in Lawsuit to Disenfranchise Military Voters in Ohio

The Obama for America Campaign has joined with the National Democratic Committee and the Ohio Democratic Party to strike down part of an Ohio law that allows members of the military three extra days to vote during early voting.

 

Funny, don’t you think?  Almost any other group that wanted extra time to vote would be supported and defended by the left.  By now the liberal activists would have started in on the hate rhetoric calling anyone who would disagree, a racist and bigot.  So you ask, why the difference in Ohio? This time the demographic is the military, the men and women who fight to defend our liberty and whose veterans favor Romney over Obama by 59 percent to 35 percent according to a July 22, Rasmussen Poll.

 

We shouldn’t be surprised by this move.  President Obama’s Justice Department, led by Eric Holder, now leads the fight against states seeking to guard against voter fraud.  In March, they blocked a new Texas’ voter ID law and in December 2011 they stopped South Carolina in their effort to secure the vote.

 

In the matter of voter photo ID, Holder has thumbed his nose at the United States Supreme Court.  While Holder continues to liken a voter ID requirement to a poll tax, in April 2008 the U.S. Supreme Court, in a 6-3 decision rejected that allegation when it upheld Indiana’s strict voter ID Law. In the decision, Justice Stevens concluded that “Each of Indiana’s asserted interests is unquestionably relevant to its interest in protecting the integrity and reliability of the elec­toral process.”

 

Up until now, Attorney General Holder and President Obama have been obstructing individual state’s efforts to protect the integrity of the vote in their elections.  But, in Ohio their actions have become (if it is possible) even more dangerous – they are again stepping on a state’s authority to administer their own elections, but this time they have added a new target – the military.

Inheritance?????

Inheritance is the practice of passing on property, titles, debts, rights and obligations upon the death of an individual.

This tells the story of why Bush was so ‘BAD’ at the end of his term.

The day the democrats took over was NOT January 22nd 2009, it was ACTUALLY January 3rd 2007 the day the Democrats took over the House of Representatives and the Senate, at the very start of the 110th Congress.

 

The Democrat Party controlled a majority in both chambers for the first time since the end of the 103rd Congress in 1995.

 

For those who are listening to the liberals propagating the fallacy that everything is “Bush’s Fault”, think about this:

 

January 3rd, 2007 was the day the Democrats took over the Senate and the Congress. At that time:

 

The DOW Jones closed at 12,621.77

 

The GDP for the previous quarter was 3.5%

 

The Unemployment rate was 4.6%

 

 

George Bush’s Economic policies SET A RECORD of 52 STRAIGHT MONTHS of JOB GROWTH

 

Remember the day… January 3rd, 2007 was the day that Barney Frank took over the House Financial Services Committee and Chris Dodd took over the Senate Banking Committee.

 

 

The economic meltdown that happened 15 months later was in what part of the economy?

 

BANKING AND FINANCIAL SERVICES!

 

 

Unemployment — to this CRISIS by (among MANY other things) dumping 5-6 TRILLION Dollars of toxic loans on the economy from YOUR Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac FIASCOES!

Bush asked Congress 17 TIMES to stop Fannie & Freddie – starting in 2001 because it was financially risky for the US economy.

 

And who took the THIRD highest pay-off from Fannie Mae AND Freddie Mac? That would be Barack Hussein Obama!

And who fought against reform of Fannie and Freddie?

So when someone tries to blame Bush..

 

 

 

REMEMBER JANUARY 3rd, 2007…. THE DAY THE DEMOCRATS TOOK OVER!”

 

Budgets do not come from the White House. They come from Congress and the party that controlled Congress since January 2007 is the Democrat Party.

 

 

Furthermore, the Democrats controlled the budget process for 2008 & 2009 as well as 2010 & 2011.

 

In that first year, they had to contend with George Bush, which caused them to compromise on spending, when Bush somewhat belatedly got tough on spending increases.

 

 

For 2009 though, Nancy Pelosi & Harry Reid bypassed George Bush entirely, passing continuing resolutions to keep government running until Barack Obama could take office. At that time, they passed a massive omnibus spending bill to complete the 2009 budgets.

 

 

And where was Barack Hussein Obama during this time?

He was a member of that very Congress that passed all of these massive spending bills, and he signed the omnibus bill as President to complete 2009.

 

 

If the Democrats inherited any deficit, it was the 2007 deficit, the last of the Republican budgets. That deficit was the lowest in five years, and the fourth straight decline in deficit spending. After that, Democrats in Congress took control of spending, and that includes Barack Obama, who voted for the budgets.

If Obama inherited anything, he inherited it from himself. In a nutshell, what Obama is saying is—

 

I inherited a deficit that I voted for and then I voted to expand that deficit four-fold since January 20^th 2009 when I took the office of the President of the United States.

 

 

 

There is no way this will be widely publicized, unless each of us sends it onward.

Alinsky’s rules include:

• “Wherever possible go outside the experience of the enemy. Here you want to cause confusion, fear and retreat.” 
• “Make the enemy live up to his/her own book of rules. You can kill them with this. They can no more obey their own rules than the Christian church can live up to Christianity.” 
• “Ridicule is man’s most potent weapon. It is almost impossible to counterattack ridicule. Also, it infuriates the opposition, who then react to your advantage.” 
• “The threat is generally more terrifying than the thing itself.” 
• “In a fight almost anything goes. It almost reaches the point where you stop to apologize if a chance blow lands above the belt.” 
• “Pick the target, freeze it, personalize it and polarize it.” (Think Gingrich, Lott and the success of name-calling used by the likes of Bill Clinton, Paul Begala, James Carville, Maxine Waters and others against conservatives and Republicans. Think of how Clinton “enemies” like Paula Jones or Linda Tripp were treated.) 
• “One of the criteria for picking the target is the target’s vulnerability … the other important point in the choosing of a target is that it must be a personification, not something general and abstract.” (Trent Lott comes to mind. Meanwhile, a former Klansman by the name of Sen. Robert Byrd got away with saying “nigger” on Fox News at least three times, and he still maintains his Senate seat and power.) 
• “The enemy properly goaded and guided in his reaction will be your major strength.” For instance, Democrats imply conservatives are racists or that Republicans want to kill senior citizens by limiting the growth of the Medicare system, they imply Republicans want to deny kids lunch money without offering real proof. These red-herring tactics work.

 

 

A few other paragraphs from the story that we should be focused on;

 

Of course, Republicans reaction to all this is to immediately go on the defensive. Seldom do they unleash their pit bull orators or strategists. Rather than use the immense amount of data available to prove the conservative case, Republicans tug their forelocks, say “yes sir,” and hope the accusations and name calling will go away.

Why is it that Republicans consistently fail to point out the monumental failures of the new Democrats? Failures such as the massive disaster that is the “war on poverty.” On that topic alone Republicans should be drilling the public in every media venue and at every opportunity. Then and only then should Republicans offer alternatives to the failed policies of the Democratic left.

Republicans should pound relentlessly on the fact that the Democratic Party was hijacked by leftist reactionaries way back in the early ’70s. The reactionary left is the obstructionist left. They do nothing but defend and cling to the failures of the past. That fact makes them reactionaries rather than radicals or progressives.

Unfortunately, Republicans still pretend that nothing has changed regarding the basic philosophy of the political parties. They refuse to understand the horrendous notion that Democrats tell us the U.S. Constitution is flexible. That means the rule of law is flexible. If that is the case the law and the Constitution mean nothing. It means that the law and Constitution are twisted by the whims and fancies of the moment.

Rep. Darrell Issa (R-CA) used asked Holder when first knew about the controversial Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms (ATF) operation known as “Fast and Furious.” Though documents indicate Fast and Furious was started in 2009, Holder told Congress he only learned of it a “few weeks” ago.

That’s after a CBS News investigation into allegations about Fast and Furious and other gun trafficking cases. Issa also asked who at the Department of Justice, if not Holder, approved Fast and Furious. Holder stated that he didn’t know, but that investigations are underway to find that out.

Mr. Eric Holder—- Do you understand the definition of PERJURY? Your testimony is now the poster child for this CRIME! Myself, along with the rest of the American people will be awaiting your immediate Resignation.
